For those of you new to Girl Scouts or Camp Cleawox, some history. Camp Cleawox is located on the coast just south of Florence, Girl Scouts have been using the camp for 75 years. Cleawox is used during the summer to run our resident camp program, which is open to all girls. We run 4 to 13 day programs that girls sign up for as individuals or with a buddy. These programs focus on archery, horseback riding, leadership, boating, swimming, canoe and backpack trips, drama, arts and crafts, and nature. We also offer two specialty programs: Core Camp where a troop comes with all food and program provided, and Daisy Days, for kindergarten and 1st grade girls to attend a day of camp activities with a caring adult. We do have financial aid available for girls to attend our resident camp programs.
