Girl Scouts of Western Rivers Council

SUMMER LOVIN' FUN
COUNCIL PATCH PROGRAM
For Troops and Groups

Leaders, this patch program is to encourage you and your girls to continue meeting through the summer and help you get a head start on things in the fall. Remember as you go through the program, you should encourage the girls to do the planning and decision making. They've had a whole school year of practice and are ready to make even bigger and better decisions! And most of all, remember to have FUN!

    REQUIREMENTS-
  1. The troop/group must plan and carry out at least three (3) activities during the summer. Include some service at least once. Include families of troop members at least once. Inter-troop/group activities are not required but are encouraged. (Day camps do not qualify - the girls need to plan the activity.)
  2. Each girl must attend at least two (2) of the activities. This allows for family vacations and other obligations.
  3. The activities must take place between the close of school for summer and the first day of school in the fall.

Complete the order form and the activity record and return it, along with payment for your patches to the Council Shop or mail NO LATER THAN September 30th to:
