 Camp Cleawox.
Where Girls Grow Strong.
One Summer After Another.

Core Camp, Troop #256

At Camp Cleawox Girls Grow Strong by making new friends and gaining experience in community living with other girls and adults. By learning from peers and adults while sharing laughter and overcoming challenges. Developing self and group reliance through planning and problem solving. Acquiring new skills in areas that interest them. Gaining awareness of the beauty and wonders of nature, and their effects on the natural world. Taking time to gain new understanding of themselves, their values, and the world.

Camp Cleawox is located on the beautiful Oregon Coast near Florence on a freshwater lake surrounded by rolling sand dunes.

You do not have to currently be a registered Girl Scout OR be from Western Rivers to participant in our wonderful Camp Cleawox programs - check out the brochure available on the right.

Did you know a week of day camp
equals a year of troop meetings?

Whether your child participates in day camp or a sleep away camp, it is an unforgettable experience. I still remember the name of the waterfront counselor I admired over forty years ago
(it was Thumper).
