Interested in working at Camp Cleawox

during resident camp?

Camp Cleawox is looking for summer staff to help girls grow strong. We offer programs in water (swimming and boating), drama and crafts, archery, nature, trips (backpacking and canoeing), leadership and horses. Our programs focus on teaching girls about themselves and others while practicing and learning skills. The summer session runs from June 13- August 20, 2008.

Below are short descriptions of each position.  To see the detailed description, click on position name.

Program Director $2000-2600 POSITION FILLED
(Min. age 21 yr.)
Responsible for supervising and supporting program staff. Experience in a variety of camp program activities a must. Camping, youth, and supervisory experience preferred. Current drivers license, willing to drive a 15 passenger van. Current certifications in aquatics preferred.

Counselor in Training Director  $2000-2400
(Min. age 21 yr.)
Plan and implement a program for 11th and 12th graders to learn about how to be a camp counselor and improve their leadership skills.  Current drivers license, willing to drive a 15 passenger van.

Cook  $1800-2300
(Min. age 18 yr.)
Manage food service operations, plan and prepare meals. Supervise kitchen staff. Experience in quantity cooking, menu planning, and supervision required.

Kitchen Aide  $1200-1300
(Min. age 16 yr.)
Assist with preparation of meals and cleaning of kitchen, and dishes. Must have a current food handler’s permit.

Unit Director  $2000-2600
(Min. age 21 yr.)
Responsible for supervising and assisting Unit Counselors. Assist units with programs and working with campers. Camping, youth, and supervisory experience preferred. Current drivers license, willing to drive a 15 passenger van.

Unit Counselor  $1800-1900
(Min. age 18)
Work within camp community to provide quality program for campers. Camping, youth, and leadership experience desired.

Program Specialist $1800-1900
(Min. age 18 yr.) Training/certification available
Plan and implement program with your specialty area. Knowledge and experience in your area required. Some positions require certification. Specialists are hired in  waterfront (swimming and boating), crafts, nature, outdoor skills and archery( POSITION FILLED).
