The Council acquired the property in the 1960’s and have been developing
facilities on the site since then. The 200-acre site
features three program areas. All buildings are wheelchair accessible.
Camp Wallace Creek is located near Jasper, Oregon, five miles south of
Springfield. In 2005 this area was clear cut. However, the
facilities are still available for rental.

Stafford House
This modern lodge contains a kitchen with stove, oven, refrigerator,
microwave, sink, storage and counter space. Kitchen utensils include
plates, cups, flatware, cooking utensils and some pots and pans. The
main activity room has a fireplace, tables, and chairs. A small room
contains old furniture. There are two restrooms (and a shower for
emergency use only). Sleeping is available on the floor, no mats
provided. |

Woodlot
The rustic Woodlot facilities include:

Margaret Muhlheim Program Center featuring five tables with benches, two
sinks with running cold water, counter tops for food preparation. and electric lights and outlets. |

Five Sleeping Cabins that can accommodate eight people per cabin. Each
cabin has 8 wooden bunk beds, electric lights and wall outlets. |

Bathrooms with 4 flush toilets and a sink. |

Bryant Shelter
The open-air covered shelter near the entrance of Camp Wallace Creek
has a large cement floor, picnic tables and counter space. Cold water
and a latrine is available. It is ideal for day camps and daytime activities.
This area was clear cut in 2005.
Low Bungalow
| This newly remodeled modular home contains a kitchen with
stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, sink, storage and counter space.
Kitchen utensils includes plates, cups, flatware, cooking utensils and some
pots and pans. There is one bathroom with a shower, two small carpeted
rooms and a living room with new hardwood floor. There are 12 chairs
and two tables. Sleeping on the floor, no mats provided. |
