Dutch Oven Cook-Off
July 4, 2008
Greetings to all Girl Scout Leaders!
The La Pine Frontier Days Cook-off is now officially a SCOUT CHALLENGE!
Last year having the Boy & Girl Scouts cook was such a success that we want to do it again only bigger & better! We would like to have scouts come from all over our region to compete! The prizes are great, you can't beat the weather as a rule, and the "Frontier Days" is a great fun event that goes on for four days, with a carnival, entertainment and fireworks are just a few of the highlights. Please take a moment and check out our website for more information... www.lapinefrontierdays.org.  I have attached the application form & rules for you to look over...you can make copies for your troops, or we can make copies and send them to you.
Please do not hesitate to write or call with questions.  FYI - last year a Girl Scout team from the Portland area won the prize for best decorated cook site...a Lodge Dutch Oven with the BOY Scout logo on top!

I Hope to hear from you soon!
Sincerely,
Ann Gawith, President
