2008 COUNCIL MINI-DESTINATION


Seattle By Storm
July 26-30, 2008
Girls age 12-14

This trip is full, a waiting list has been started.
(11 year olds can apply, but they need two letters of reference from non-troop affiliated adults.)

Limited to 28 Girls, 6 Adults
Girls – $500  (Adults* - $300*)
(Fee Includes transportation, food, lodging, admission fees and  activity insurance)

View from the Space Needle

Join us as we ride Amtrak to Seattle and enjoy 4 nights and 5 days of fun!  Experience Seattle’s panoramic view while eating lunch at the top of the Space Needle, catch the flying fish at Pike’s Market, play games at Gameworks, experience a Salmon bake, bay cruise and show at Tillicum Village and much more!

Fee includes transportation, food, lodging, admission fee and activity insurance.  You can earn all or part of your trip by selling cookies and earning Cookie Dollars

Send in your Registration Form and $75 non-refundable deposit (Cash, check, charge or PSC).

Registration opens January 14 and closes February 14.

*Adult chaperones must fill out an application and are required to take Chaperone training from the Council.

Chaperone Training for Mini-Destinations

Welcome Adults, to the opportunity to travel as chaperones for mini-Destinations. These trips include Seattle By Storm, and Shoot the Rapids. This new training is required in order for you to chaperone an event. Please sign-up through the Eugene service center at 541-485-5911 ext. 0 or 1-800-522-8772 ext. 0.

Please note:

bulletThis is not a troop event.
bulletEach girl MUST sign up individually.
bulletIf the event fills on opening day, participants will be selected by drawing, on an individual basis.
bulletPriority registration will be given on opening day to girls who have not gone on the trip previously.
bullet You can earn all or part of your trip by selling cookies and earning Cookie Dollars
bulletAttendance at DW 1 is NOT REQUIRED FOR THIS TRIP
