Looking for Troops to become a part of Cleawox
in our WAGGGS Flags Drive!
We would like to display the WAGGGS (World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts) flags from around the world at Camp Cleawox in and around the lodge. We are looking for money donations to purchase a flag from each country. The flags would honor the countries that are part of our sisterhood in Girl Guides and Scouts. We are also looking for troops to help create program boxes celebrating a specific country’s culture and history. These would be available for check out for troop/groups to learn about our Girl Guide and Girl Scout sisters around the world. If you have items from other countries that you think might be an interesting addition to these boxes, please contact the service center and we will put you in touch with others working on boxes for a specific country. Currently there are 144 WAGGGS countries. The following countries are members of WAGGGS. Please contact the council service center to choose which country’s flag you would like to purchase and for pricing information. Flags range in price from $25.00 to $62.00. We are asking for money donations to purchase the flags as a set so that we can insure all the flags meet the safety regulation, and are the same size, and material.
